Anything else would you like to mention about your family medical history to the
Adoptive parent
I had frequent ear infections as a child, and required tubes twice. As a result, I had some hearing issues early on and my speech was a bit delayed until that was remedied. Both of my children have had recurrent or antibiotic-resistant ear infections. The older is currently on his second set of tubes, and the younger is currently on her first.
Anything else would you like to mention about your talents, skills, interests
I play two instruments and sing. I played piano competitively for 6 years (starting at 5 years old), and took part in music theory competitions throughout that time as well. I participated in musical theater in high school and college. I have been in choirs since I was 5 years old, and began singing competitions in middle school, continuing that throughout college. I was a member of the Texas All-State Women's Choir.
Academics have always been a strong suit, and a love of reading was deeply rooted in early childhood. In middle and high school, I took all advanced placement classes, and graduated in the top 25 of my class with a GPA >4.0. I graduated college summa cum laude. My work involves high level mathematics, statistics, and coding.
I am trilingual, and I enjoy traveling and learning the history of places.
