Anything else would you like to mention about your family medical history to the

I was diagnosed with testicular cancer at the age of 49. As of now, I am cancer free after two surgeries, the original orchiectomy 6/23 and RPLND 12/23. They were seminoma germ cell tumors with no other cases in my family, so I don't believe there's a genetic component.
One of our children has a very mild allergy to amoxicillin, which causes hives and itching. That child also had a similar reaction to pineapple as a toddler.
My mother has Fronto-Temporal Dementia, semantic variation. The onset was in her late 60's to early 70's.

I have played many sports throughout my life; the ones that I have invested the most time in are soccer and rock climbing. I played soccer competitively as a youth and young adult, including winning a recreational state championship at 16 and playing varsity soccer in two semi-finalist teams. I have coached our daughters' soccer teams from the age of 5, and they both enjoy playing. I began climbing outdoors at the age of 12, and I have gone on to climb everything from expert level sport climbs to 2000’ “big wall” cliffs. After winning the youth southeastern regional championship in sport climbing, I was offered a sponsorship by a climbing shoe and gear company. I still climb indoors and outdoors with our daughters, who are gifted natural climbers.
I am a musician, playing the guitar and percussion (primarily congas, timbales, and bongos) as a hobby and in live bands after college. I learned how to record my own music on computer and then used those skills to produce a wide variety of tunes, including the soundtracks for the films that we made when pursuing a career in film.
Creative writing has been a passion that I have returned to many times in my life after earning as English degree with an additional specialty in it from Stanford University. In those days, I mainly wrote literary short stories. I then switched to focus on screenwriting in Los Angeles for a number of years.

I enjoy quite a diverse array of hobbies and interests. Like my career, I've been lucky to learn a lot of skills and take part in many adventures. I actually got my pilot's license at 14 years old before I even got my driver's license. I went to school for engineering but have always been a creative person so after a few years of working as an engineer for NASA (yes, NASA which was amazing!), I left engineering to pursue a creative career. I moved to Los Angeles, and began working in film and creative writing. I love reading, and I love films, both! Today, I work in tech--in a perfect marriage of design, creative, and engineering which combines all my skills.
Recreationally, I love the outdoors: camping, hiking, swimming, skiing, and trail running. I've also been a life long soccer player and played NCAA varsity Squash in college. We even won a trophy my junior year. I love music and worked briefly as a DJ when I was in LA. I also love the study of languages--I speak english and french, and study spanish and Italian. I love to travel basically anywhere, even if it's just exploring a nearby park or museum!
