Anything else would you like to mention about your family medical history to the
Adoptive parent

I had seasonal allergies well into my early 20s. They come and go. I got gestational diabetes during my first pregnancy. I was non-diabectic afterward, but again got gestational after my second pregancy. Looks like its sticking now. It does run in my family. My grandmother, my two uncles and my mother all have type 2 diabetes. My 2 aunts and 1 uncle do not have diabetes. They all got it after they were 50 so some of it is environmental/habit factors. However, we probably have some type of tendency as well. My mother developed high blood pressure after 60.

My father is relatively healthy considering he smoked and drank for much of his life. He did stop drink 15 years ago. He was diagnosed with high blood pressure around 60, and he had a "stroke" like episode at 68. He is still with us, though does suffer memory issues.

Anything else would you like to mention about your talents, skills, interests

I am a very social person. I am very much an extrovert. I also love traveling and learning about new places. I have no musical talent for singing, however, I love dancing and acting. I was in drama as a child, and took dance classes until the age of 14. I then switched to debate/speech and mock trial.

Have no musical talent. Just thought should mention. I also like archery, golfing, and I have an interest in knives. Specially I like knife sharpening, my father use to do it as well. I have a collection of knives.

On an aside I also am very artistic. I love painting and drawing. I have been doing that since I was a child, and my 2 year old daughter is showing a similar affinity to drawing beyond regular scribbles.

I have mild anxiety/depression diagnosed around COVID. I am obese, which is probably what led to my type 2 diabetes and heart conditions. My sister does not suffer from either. She is also a healthy weight, though she did have hypothyroism in her 20s (the one that makes you lose alot of weight). My mother also had type 2 diabetes, suffered 2 heart attacks and a stroke. She had smoked since she was 14 years old, and did not give up the habit which may have contributed to her death at 64. My father also had a stroke at 41, but his death was linked directly to his alcoholism.
