Hi Everyone! Our names are [Her name] and [His name]. We have been married for twelve years and are in the process of pursing embryo adoption. I [Her name] knew a friend in college who did embryo adoption and gave birth to twin boys. The twins recently turned 11 and it has been a joy watching their family grow in this way. Ever since I first heard about embryo adoption and followed my friend's journey, I knew that I wanted to pursue embryo adoption someday. Both [His name] and I have a heart for adoption and believe that life begins at conception and so, instead of trying to conceive our own children, we have felt led to pursue embryo adoption.

 

[Her name] works as a nurse practitioner and [His name] is an author. Our only “child” is our fur baby, a golden retriever named Nala who is our whole world. She is sweet, sensitive, and loves to play outside. We are very involved in our local church, as well as being involved in our community at large. We love to go to local sporting events, especially the fall football games. You can also find us attending nearly every musical and play the high school puts on. We both work closely with our church’s high school and middle school youth groups and have close relationships with the families of many students.

 

Some of our favorite things to do together are playing board games, spending time at local coffee shops, and exploring small historic towns. We also love to make our own maple syrup in the spring and host an event called “Maple Fest” where we make lots of different foods and desserts with maple syrup. We thoroughly enjoy hosting people in our home for dinners and for holiday celebrations. The last few years we have hosted a dinner party on the 4thof July, Halloween and New Years. We also enjoy hosting a Friendsgiving event for the college students who attend our church.

 

We are homeowners and live in a very safe neighborhood with lots of kids and young families. The neighborhood is always filled with the sounds of children playing outside. Our neighbor’s children often come over to hang out with us when we are relaxing on our front porch.
