INTRO LETTER
A few months after we got married we went out for dinner while visiting family, to Cracker Barrel, don't judge, the mac n cheese is just like my mom's! While wandering through the store aftwerwards we came across this little plaque with the quote Difficult Roads Often Lead to Beautiful Destinations, I had the overwhelming urge to buy it. Shortly thereafter it went up on our wall. Little did we know that the difficult road we would be starting on was infertility and the beautiful destination it would eventually lead us to was embryo adoption.
We have tried multiple IUI's, been through a slew of tests, weathered COVID and the passing of my father and we finally come to the conclussion that while we would love to have biological children, there are embryos out there in the world that need a womb, need a home, and a family to love them. So, after much thought and prayer, many conversations and research we came to Embryo Soulutions. We are thankful for this time of waiting, while it has been extremely difficult it has given us space in our relationship to figure out how to love each other well and how to have difficult conversations in a healthy and productive way. We are by no means perfect, so if you're looking for a perfect family I can tell you we are not it. What we are, is an authentic, loving, fun, sometimes quirky couple that enjoys drinking coffee in front of the fireplace on a snowy Sat morning, dancing in the kitchen to our favorite song, supporting and loving our friends and family in difficult times, traveling internationally, going on road trips, hiking in the mountain, and shopping at Costco together. In the summer we fish, kayak, and explore the outdoors. In the winter we spend a lot of time visiting friends and family, go cut down our Christmas tree in the woods whenever we can, and take snowy walks through the forest. I am a part-time pediatric nurse as well as a wedding photographer because I like to balance out my science and artistic sides. My husband is a food and beverage manager at a lodge, summers are busier so we stay closer to home and then travel more in the winter. We are provided a small house through his work with room for us and the couple kids we will hopefully have someday soon.
We have learned that holding on too tightly to the expectations of what life was "supposed" to be like robs the joy out of the beautiul moments of truth and beauty we have. Grief has given us a different insight into comfort and love. What I would say is, it hasn't always been easy, this journey we have been on, but it has been worth it. The relatiosnhip we have built through the trials and tears has been so much better than I ever expected, we desperately want a child, and feel a deep void in our lives from not being able to have one. I have always wanted to carry a baby, and nurture that growing life inside me. However, whether or not we ever get the opportunity to have a child we would still choose each other again and again because we have learned how to love each other well in every season.

To Whom it May Concern,
This is a reference letter to recommend my sister and her husband for an embryo adoption. My older sister asked me to write this recommendation because I have seen her caring for children pretty much my whole life. She and her husband have faced many challenges together and shown themselves to be a great team dealing with whatever life brings their way. Their love for each other and the people in their lives will only grow to embrace a child of their own.
My sister is only a few years older than me, but she was a significant support for me growing up especially in my teen years. I have also watched her care for many children over the years from babysitting when we were teenagers to helping take care of our nieces and nephews over the past 18 years. I can say that my sister has amazing parenting skills and loves children with all her heart. Becoming a mother is something my sister has wanted for most of her life. Writing this reference is the least I can do to help make her dream come true after all the years of support she has provided me and many others in her life.
As for her husband, he is an incredibly thoughtful, patient, and kind person with a big heart for people especially children. He is a loving husband and I think he will make a great father. He gets along great with all of the children in our family playing with them and making them laugh with his great sense of humor.
Writing this letter, I have no doubt that my sister and her husband will become great parents creating a safe loving environment for a child to grow and thrive in. Sincerely,

To Whom It May Concern
I have known J for 14+ years and his wife C for approximately 8 years, I had the honor of being the officiant at their marriage.
They both are people of integrity, and their desire to be parents has been evident since day one of their wedding,
They are both consistent in their lifestyles, strong in their motivation to create the best possible environment for a child, and willing to change and grow as needed in their personal lives as well.
We have spent a lot of time with them individually and as a couple. The one constant has been their desire to be parents.
If you need to contact us please feel free to.
REFERENCE LETTER 3
March 15, 2023
To Whom It May Concern,
I have known C for nearly 20 years. We first met at a young adult’s church, and I got to know her even more at a camp weekend. My sister and I liked her so much, we asked her to be our roommate. C and I were roommates for almost five years, and have been close friends ever since. We have been through ups and downs, and laughter and tears. When C and J were dating, I traveled to the city and state C was living in at the time so I could meet J. They were such a great couple together and I was excited to get to travel again the following summer to be a part of their wedding. They definitely bring out the best in each other.
C has always loved children. She spent a couple of years working in orphanages in other countries. While she was gone, we would have opportunities to chat and C would consistently talk about the girls and staff. You could tell how much she loved those kids and the people she worked with. She not only cared for the girls in day-to-day ways but also helped with homework and other aspects of their well-being.
I have also been able to see C with kids personally. C and I were part of the same church for many years, and C consistently would help out with kids. She always took great care of the kids and show immense patience and warmth. We also had a close friend from church who had young kids, and sometimes C or myself would babysit them. I was able to see C's empathy and encouragement in action.
C comes from a large family and has multiple nieces and nephews. I remember when she first became an aunt, C was so excited to be an aunt and has consistently been a mentor and presence in her niece’s life. Now, C and J are able to pour into C’s nieces and nephews together. J is also great with them, and he is able to speak to them on their level and speak with kindness and encouragement too. I do not have kids of my own, but I know many of our mutual friends would not hesitate to entrust C and J to take care of their kids.
C is an empathetic and warm woman who cares for people greatly. She has been a nurse for almost 20 years and has worked with kids in that capacity as well. She is creative and hard-working, honest and true. C is a good listener and has consistently been there for me when I had hardships in my life. She is a fantastic friend and I am incredibly grateful to have her in my life.
J is trustworthy and full of compassion. From the moment he met me, he treated me with kindness and like family. J has informally mentored many men who have struggled with various things in life, and he has been able to be a positive influence on their lives.
Both C and J are the types of people who would be successful parents. There is nothing that I know of their history or their character that should prevent them from becoming adoptive embryo parents. I genuinely and eagerly give my recommendation for C and J to become adoptive embryo parents.
Sincerely,
