INTRO LETTER

A Chance to Help Us Grow Our Family

Dear Prospective Embryo Donors,

[His name] and I first met in college - young, hopeful, and completely unaware that the person standing before us would one day become our greatest love. From the very beginning, there was an ease, a connection, and a sense of familiarity. But life, in its wisdom, sometimes asks us to grow separately before we can grow together. Though we felt something special from the start, the timing simply wasn’t right.

Still, we never let go of each other.

Across the years - through different relationships, changing careers, heartbreaks, victories, and all the unexpected shifts of adulthood - we remained a constant presence in one another’s lives. We supported each other, cheered each other on, and cared in a way that only deep, undeniable soul ties can explain. And then, later in life, as if the universe had been patiently waiting for us to catch up, our paths aligned again. When we finally came together, it felt not just right, but inevitable.

When we married, we stepped into our union with gratitude for the journeys that shaped us and excitement for the life we knew we were meant to build side by side. One of our greatest shared dreams has always been to grow our family. And though we learned that conceiving naturally was no longer an option for us, we never lost our sense of hope.

Hope has always been part of who we are - both individually and as a couple. We are dreamers by nature - performers who have spent our lives believing in possibility, creativity, and the magic that happens when people come together to build something beautiful. Theater has shaped so much of who we are. It has taught us community, acceptance, empathy, and the profound truth that every person’s story matters. Being “theater people” means we live our lives with open hearts, collaboration, and love at the center - and that spirit is exactly what we hope to bring into growing our family.

As we explored our options and spoke with doctors, we discovered embryo adoption—something we had never even known existed. And the moment we learned about it, something inside both of us lit up. The idea that families can be formed in ways that transcend biology alone… that children can be brought into the world through love, intention, and community… that another family could entrust us with the gift of life… it felt miraculous.

To us, embryo adoption isn’t just a medical possibility - it is a profoundly beautiful way to create a child, a family, and a lifelong connection that feels almost like an extension of two families coming together. It reflects everything we believe in: love, compassion, generosity, and the incredible ways people can support one another in creating a future filled with hope.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. We approach this journey with open hearts, deep respect, and unwavering gratitude for everyone who makes this kind of miracle possible.

With warmth & gratitude,
