INTRO LETTER
Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about me and consider me in your embryo adoption journey. I feel deeply honored to be able to write this letter and share a little about who I am and the path that has led me here.
I am a first grade teacher who finds great joy in working with children and helping them feel safe, loved, and confident in who they are. Becoming a mother has always been a dream of mine. In my early 30s, I was a foster parent and provided respite care for families, which deepened my understanding of children’s needs and the importance of stability, patience, and unconditional love. At 35, I began pursuing answers about my women’s health and met with a fertility clinic, where I learned that my AMH was low. At that time, I made the intentional and hopeful decision to become a single mother by choice and selected a sperm donor. I began with IUI, but my first round was unsuccessful. I then moved forward with IVF. During that cycle, five mature eggs were retrieved, four fertilized, and two embryos made it to day five. After genetic testing, I learned that only one embryo was viable. Sadly, that embryo did not implant. I later tried another round of IUI, which was also unsuccessful. While each step came with disappointment and grief, it also brought clarity and deep reflection. Through this journey, I came to the decision that embryo adoption is the path that feels right for me—one filled with hope, gratitude, and trust in a different, but equally beautiful, way of building a family.
Outside of teaching, I live an active and family-centered life. I love spending time with my niece and nephew, and we enjoy simple adventures like going to the park, the zoo, swimming, childrens museums and visiting splash pads in the summer. I enjoy playing volleyball, taking long walks with my two black Labrador retrievers, and being outdoors. Some of my favorite moments are fishing with my dad and going on vacation with my mom. Family is very important to me, and a child would grow up surrounded by loving, involved grandparents, aunt, cousins, family friends and positive role models.
I value kindness, patience, laughter, and connection. My home is filled with warmth, routines, and a strong support system of family and friends who are eager to welcome a child and surround them with love. I look forward to sharing everyday moments like reading bedtime stories, celebrating milestones, exploring the world together, and teaching a child that they are deeply loved and cherished.
I hold immense respect and gratitude for the courage and generosity it takes to consider embryo adoption. I promise to honor your gift with a lifetime of love, stability, and open conversations about the beautiful story of how this child came to be.
REFERENCE LETTER 1
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing this letter to support my best friend, [Her name], as she moves forward with embryo
adoption. Watching her take this step has been incredibly meaningful, and I truly believe this is
exactly how her story is meant to unfold. Becoming a family doesn’t always look the same for
everyone, and the chance to grow a family this way is something really special.
[Her name] is meant to be a mom. Anyone can hope or dream for this, but for [Her name], it feels like a
calling. It shows in how she lives her life and in the way she loves the people around her.
As a first-grade teacher, [Her name] understands how important it is for children to feel safe —
emotionally, mentally, and physically. She knows how much stability, consistency, and love
matter in a child’s life, and she creates that sense of safety naturally. It’s not something she
turns on at work and off at home; it’s just who she is.
She gives so much of herself to her family, her friends, and especially to their children. Her love
is steady, patient, and genuine. Any child would be incredibly lucky to grow up with that kind of
care and support. Beyond that, [Her name] is an amazing human being with strong morals and deeply
rooted beliefs. She leads with kindness and integrity, and she always puts others first.
I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this opportunity than [Her name]. She is ready in every way
that matters, and any child who becomes part of her life will be deeply loved, protected, and
supported.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this letter.
Sincerely,
