You don’t know us yet, but the role you play will allow us to do our most rewarding job in life. Alone, we have always known that we’ve wanted to be parents and to pour our love into our children. When we found each other, that dream solidified how much we knew we wanted to do this journey in life together. We first found out about an unexpected pregnancy in the Summer of 2022. As scared as we were, we were overjoyed with the thought of bringing a little one into the world. This happiness was short-lived when a miscarriage followed less than a week later. This truly began our push into becoming parents. After nearly two years of trying many fertility measures to try to conceive a biological child, we learned that it didn’t matter how we became parents – just that we could. We quickly became foster parents to give love to so many children that haven’t been given the chance of a fair childhood. With the uncertainty of who would remain with us, we then learned about the gift of embryo adoption. Although embryo adoption wasn’t the life we had originally envisioned, we know that there is greater power that led us to this moment.

During the entirety of our journey, we plunged ourselves into other plans and projects with significant meaning: our wedding, graduation ceremonies for both of us and others within our circle, the births of many nieces and nephews, a move to a bigger city, countless celebrations within our circle, and other endless memories.

Our child will always be surrounded by the love and support from us, our families, our friends, and their future siblings. We are looking forward to reserving Summers for our children’s extracurriculars, spending time in our large and cultured city, going to waterparks, learning about animals at the zoo, visiting museums to learn about history and other cultures, traveling overseas, and seeing our many loved ones. The Winter holidays will be spent creating our own traditions but will save lots of time for memories with our family. Dinners will be hosted by their grandparents, and they will learn how to bake and decorate holiday cookies for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Each Halloween, we will take them trick-or-treating and then to a Halloween party hosted by our friends that occurs every year. We are excited to see their sweet face on Christmas morning and see them run to the gifts under the tree. We will also wrap gifts together to donate to other children/families once they’re able to do so.

We both work full-time jobs that provide us with a lot of flexibility and PTO to be able to make it to special events and important appointments. Our child will never wonder where we are during crucial moments and will be raised by hard-working parents who value helping others through their occupations.

It’s so hard to find the words, yet we feel like there is so much to say. By choosing us, you are choosing a life of love, happiness, support, warmth, safety, endless adventures, millions of wonderful memories, creativity and so much more for this child. We promise to make any place our children are in a home.
