My name is [Her name]. I have always been extremely maternal and longed for kids since I was a child myself. I built my whole career out of this passion. I went to university to get a degree in midwifery. Later I became a Montessori preschool teacher before finally settling as a career nanny, which I just loved and did for almost 20 years. I was able to foster the deep connections with children I longed for and found it very fullfilling.

 

I was born in [State] to Swiss parents. With my dad's job, we moved every three years. Chronologically, we lived in [Stae1], Switzelrnad, CA, [State2], Switzerland, Poland then England. I'm deeply grateful for the openmindedness I gained in seeing the world and the languages I speak. However, I feel very strongly about not relocating my children and providing them with roots, stability and community. I have not moved since my first was born. I'm currently looking for a bigger house but won't even conside outside of our school zone.

 

I started my fertility journey when I froze my eggs at 32. How naive I was in thinking that was a guarantee! I've had a total of seven egg retrievals now. I am so fortunate that it gifted me with my three children. My sons are 7 and 3. My daughter Paloma passed away four years ago from sepsis. There are no words to adequately describe that experience or my love for her. The last two years, I have done four egg retrievals in the hopes of adding to our family. Due to my age (44 now), I was not successful. This is what has led me to embryo adoption. I find something poetic about merging with a family who has also experienced the trials of infertility and IVF.

 

My little family is a happy family with lots of love, warmth, humor and affection. I have so much more to give. We live in a lovely neighborhood in a great suburb and are deeply enmeshed in our community. I have a circle

of supportive friends and my family visit from Europe multiple times per year. I'm lucky enough to be financially independent, so can fully immerse myself in caring for my kids and attending activities and volunteering at school and going to doctor's appointments and play dates and school plays. I feel very fortunate. I like to think any baby joining our family would feel nothing but love, warmth, kindness and unwavering support! My biggest goal is for all my children to grow up certain that they were deeply loved and fully accepted for exactly who they are.
