My name is [Her name], and I’m excited to adopt your embryos! I always knew that my motherhood journey would include adoption. From a young age I felt the calling to adopt. I spent my thirties as a foster parent and adopted my son from foster care. After supporting many successful reunifications within our foster system; I’m hoping to continue to grow our family through a different type of adoption!

 

I’ve been in education for eighteen years. Currently, I’m a Pre-Kindergarten teacher, so I spend my days turning play into learning for classes of enthusiastic four year olds. Most of my afternoons are spent cheering on my son at one of his middle school games. In my free time I read and go on walks with my dog, Tilly. My favorite place to be is by the ocean. I would spend every day at the beach if I could. Theater is one of my favorite hobbies. I write and direct plays for children of all ages. I love to travel, and I’m looking forward to visiting France, Spain, and Ireland in the future.

 

C. and I live in a condo that we purchased. We are enjoying painting and making changes to make it our own. We are fortunate to live in a town with an amazing school district. We live within walking distance of our recreational indoor pool and playground. We benefit from being closer to resources of bigger towns, while maintaining a small town feel with close neighbor relationships.

We’re blessed to have an amazing support system. My parents live close by, right on the ocean, in the same house I grew up in. My son has even learned to sail on the same boat I learned to sail on as a kid in the cove outside my childhood home. I have a very close relationship with my younger sister. She has four children of her own, and I’ve been there to help out with the birth of each of my nieces. (She’s looking forward to returning the favor for me!) We have a network of close neighbors and friends who live just a town away.

 

One of the amazing benefits of my position as Pre-K teacher through our local Headstart program is having access to free childcare from birth to five. My schedule allows me to match the times of a school day and maintain a life-work balance that gives me time to spend with C. and a new little one. I have the flexibility to be home when I need to be with appointments for the pediatrician, dentist, and illnesses. I have an extremely supportive work team and supervisor who emphasizes the importance of family coming first.

 

As a family we enjoy going to water parks and finding new types of cuisine to eat. We’re both adventurous eaters, so we get to enjoy sushi, Thai, or Hawaiian shaved ice. We are excited to go on a new quest this summer to pan for gold in one of the areas of [State] that has gold deposits. We love to go watch sports in person. We’ve been to see the [Teams]. We’re hoping to add a [Team] hockey game to the list soon.

 

We can’t wait to add to our family! C. is excited to have a sibling he can teach everything he knows to and Tilly can’t wait to give all of the snuggles. We have so much love to give, and your embryos are the missing piece of our hearts. Thank you for considering us for embryo donation.
