We hope this letter finds you well and filled with joy. We wanted to share a bit of our journey with you because you're now a part of our story in the most incredible way! Over the last three years, we've been on a journey trying to start our family. Hearing a diagnosis of diminished ovarian reserve was tough, and despite diving headfirst into both IUI and IVF, we faced disappointment. After much prayer and reflection, we felt led to close that chapter and open our hearts to embryo adoption—and let me tell you, the excitement in our hearts is beyond words! We truly believe God has a perfect plan through all of this, and we're so grateful to you for your amazing gift. We can't wait to see how God weaves our lives together in this beautiful journey of faith, family, and love.

 

We're thrilled to give you a peek into our lives! We've been sweethearts since high school and have been married for seven wonderful years—twelve years of adventures together in total. We put down roots in the suburbs of our hometown, surrounded by loved ones who mean the world to us. We share our home with our dog, Maple, and our two quirky cats. Family is extremely important to us and we cherish the moments we get to spend with them. From our weekly dinners at Grandma's to lively game nights at our parents' houses, family is a big part of our lives.

 

We’re a fun-loving and occassionally goofy couple with unique interests and careers that keep life exciting. My husband, being an only child, grew up playing hockey and golf competitively throughout his childhood. Today, he is a dedicated funeral director, a role he chose because it perfectly blends science and compassion, allowing him to care for others in their deepest times of need. On the other hand, I work as a buyer for a large retail chain and find my bliss hiking in the stunning landscapes out West. My brother lives just ten minutes away with his lively five-year-old son and another little boy on the way, making family gatherings full of love and laughter. Our faith is the cornerstone of our lives, adding a special touch of joy and gratitude to everything we do.

 

Being involved in our church has been such a blessing for us—it's where we've found a community that supports and encourages us in our walk with Christ. We're both active in leadership roles: one of us directs the special needs children's ministry, while the other leads in first impressions, welcoming and connecting people with the love of Jesus. We believe wholeheartedly that Jesus's sacrifice on the cross redeemed us, and we strive daily to live in a way that glorifies Him. Our faith is central to our lives, and it shapes how we want to raise our future children. We're passionate about teaching them who they are in Christ and showing them how to love others with the same unconditional love that God has shown us.

 

Traveling is a passion we both share, and we've made a pact to make time for it amidst our busy lives. A few times each year, we escape the daily grind to explore new places and create lasting memories. Whether it's just the two of us or a larger family trip, each adventure brings us closer together and broadens our horizons. We can't wait to share these experiences with our future children, showing them the wonders of the world and teaching them to appreciate its beauty and diversity.

 

As we look forward to this incredible journey, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the opportunity to bring these children into the world, thanks to your selfless gift. Our Christian faith guides us in creating a home filled with love, laughter, and compassion, and we promise to cherish and nurture them every step of the way.
