Dear Donor Family,

Thank you for considering our family to receive your precious embryo(s). We have had a very long and difficult fertility journey and it would be such a blessing to receive this gift from you. We have one beautiful seven year old son. We were able to conceive him with just hormonal fertility treatments. We have been trying to grow our family and give him a sibling ever since he was born. We’ve been through three rounds of IVF. Two rounds failed to implant and the last one ended in a miscarriage at 11 weeks. It’s been incredibly heartbreaking, but we still hope to grow our family and embryo adoption now feels like the right way for us.

We first met when we were working at the VA hospital. He is a podiatrist and she  is a nurse. We’ve been married for over ten years now. We welcomed our miracle baby 3 years later and he’s the best thing we’ve ever done. He’s grown into such a kind, imaginative, loving, funny, smart person. He really wants a sibling and will be an amazing big brother!

As a family, we love traveling together, playing games, celebrating all the occasions, hiking with our dogs, gardening and raising our chickens, playing on the river in the summer and in the snow in the winter. Really, making memories together and seeing the world through our child's eyes is the best thing ever and sharing all that with another child would be amazing! We enjoy empowering our child to make decisions and supporting him in those decisions. We recently went on a trip to New York City because it was his dream to visit.
