We have put a great deal of thought into using this approach to grow our family, and we understand how significant this decision is for you as well. Ultimately, I hope you will find that we share a common desire—giving the children that may come of these embryos a beautiful life. We have done a lot of research into options for having a family, and embryo adoption felt like the best fit for a number of reasons. We believe that these embryos deserve a chance at life just as much as any child, and it allows us the experience of pregnancy with the highest chance at viability.

We have been married for nearly three years, having exchanged vows in our mid-30s. Choosing to start our family now has come with the unique position of being well-established in our careers and financially secure. We are both fortunate to have jobs with an excellent work/life balance. Our home was purchased twelve years ago in a wonderful neighborhood. There is a great community all around us, and there are highly-rated schools nearby. We are also very fortunate to have a tight-knit group of friends and we are very family oriented. Our own parents all live within two hours away, as do our siblings (along with our nieces). We have one sibling who lives five minutes down the road with their spouse and child. Both of us are looking forward to adding children to our life, knowing they will be wrapped in love by those around us. We often look after the children of friends and our own nieces, and parenthood is something we very much want to be included in our next chapter.

When we are not at home with our two dogs or in our garden, we enjoy hiking in one of our many local parks and taking in a concert or play. There are also local sports teams and events that we enjoy. We also travel beyond our hometown regularly, often taking weekend trips to nearby cities or state parks and traveling longer distances as often as we are able. We make annual trips to the beach, love visiting Disney World, and enjoy spending time in NYC and other cultural hubs around the United States. We are both well-traveled internationally and experienced a breathtaking trip to Iceland together last summer.

While we know our adventures may look different with little ones in tow, we cannot wait to share our life with the children we are fortunate enough to raise. We do not take that potential opportunity lightly and hope you understand what a gift it would be for us.
