I have a deep curiosity about the world and a lifelong love of learning. I’m passionate about history, especially the stories and forces that have shaped civilizations, and I have a strong fascination with plant and animal life, biology, and the natural world. I’m also a dedicated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, which reflects values I care deeply about—discipline, resilience, humility, and continuous self-improvement.

During my time as a Navy hospital corpsman attached to a Marine infantry unit, I gained experience in trauma medicine and combat casualty care, which strengthened my ability to stay calm under pressure, think critically, and care for others in difficult circumstances. Service, responsibility, and protecting others have been important themes in my life.

I’d describe myself as someone who combines intellectual curiosity, physical discipline, and a strong sense of duty. I value growth, perseverance, and compassion, and I hope those qualities may be meaningful to a potential recipient.
