Anything else would you like to mention about your family medical history to the
Adoptive parent

The cancer mentioned here is prostate cancer, developed by my father in his 80s and my maternal grandfather in his 60s or 70s. Both were treatable and neither metastasized. There are no other instances of cancer in my direct line, and I have tested negative for 40+ genetic mutations that can cause cancer. I believe my paternal grandfather had substance abuse issues, but he left when my father was very young, so my knowledge of his health is limited. My daughter has congenital hip dysplasia, but it is not believed to be genetic. She is otherwise extremely healthy, and it is very treatable. I had CRPS in my right ankle as a teenager but haven't had any issues since. I also have endometriosis and PCOS, but both have generally been very well controlled by diet, exercise, and oral contraceptives. My mother, my daughter, and I have seasonal allergies, and my mother had a benign meningioma in her 70s that was safely and successfully removed. The diabetes, which exclusively in my maternal line, is all type 2 .

Anything else would you like to mention about your talents, skills, interests

I'm an award-winning writer, and I have a strong background in musical theatre (as a singer, actress, dancer, makeup artist, and director). I started playing piano when I was three years old, and my daughter already shows an interest in that as well. I'm a certified yoga instructor and am training for a 20-mile hike in 2025. I like cooking but am a much better baker, and I love spending time in the kitchen with my daughter, who, despite only being 2 years old, already really enjoys cooking and baking. She and I both share a deep love for animals and music and we do quite a bit of gardening together.
