Hello, potential donors! We are Dave and Sarah. We are embarking on this embryo adoption path to fulfill Sarah's lifelong dream of having a baby girl. We believe strongly in the strength of family, and provide a bright, loving, happy home to our 2 boys and hopefully a baby girl!

What we think you need to know about us: While we are not religious, we do both believe that there is an important spiritual aspect to life. We want our children to feel part of a larger universe, one filled with energy and spirits from the past. We want our children to see value not just in themselves, but also in the way they fit in to a larger society. We want them to be free to choose whatever paths they feel suit them best, and to give them the tools they need to navigate that path, regardless of what it is. We believe that children grow best and thrive most when they are in an environment filled with love and joy.

Logistically, we split our time between Maryland and Florida. Sarah's pregnancy, should it come to pass, would be spent primarily in Maryland, as we believe the quality of the healthcare system is better there. Sarah's family is based there, and when we are there, we spend as much time as possible with them, to give our children the widest variety of interpsersonal experiences possible. When in Florida, we go to the theme parks with the boys as much as possible. We find those experiences to be very enriching and entertaining for the kids. We love watching their faces light up when they get to meet a character, or just see something that catches their eye!

We both come from separated parents, and believe that it's important to raise our children in a stable environment filled with love. We make it a priority to show the kids that we love them and we love each other. We spend as much time all together as a family unit as we possibly can. We make it a point to have some family play time/silliness every day. We believe that a child who is laughing is a child who is ready to engage with the world around them, observe it, and learn from that experience.

Sarah grew up in Maryland. I have worked in the public school system as a special ED instructional assistant. This is where my love of working with kids that have disabilities started. I That is what made me want to adopt a dog that could not see. I love being a stay at home mom. Getting to be with my boys day in and day out is something that I really love. We love animals in our house we have two dogs one that has a speical need and another that does not as well as a hedgehog. I wrote a childrens book about our dog that cannot see. It is all about showing readers that having a disability does not mean you are less than anyone else. Music is a big part of my life. Growing up I had a grandfather that played music, and showed me how amazing music can be. Family time is realy important to me. I love getting together with our family. It is nice that our niece and nephew live so close. The boys love getting to see them a lot. Being with Dave and our boys, and our pets is the best! Seeing our family grow is the best feeling.

Dave grew up in Massachusetts. After a successful school experience, I enrolled in a doctoral program at a university in central Mass, but left that when offered a corporate position. My career and a few different relationships grew from there, until I obtained my current position, and met Sarah shortly thereafter. I have been working from home since about 2003, and truly love the freedom that being unchained from an office allows me. Meeting Sarah was probably the biggest change I have ever had, and I have been happily sharing my life with her ever since. Being with her has allowed me to experience things I never thought I could (such as having children), and I look forward to every day I get to spend with her.

Our kids are amazing people. While still very young, we love watching their personalities start to shine through, and seeing all the new things they learn each and every day.
