INTRO LETTER
REFERENCE LETTER 1
September 12, 2023
To Whom It May Concern,
It is with great pleasure and strong conviction that I write this recommendation letter stating my support for both LW and LD as they aspire to become adoptive parents.
As a first cousin to LW, I can say I have known LW all my life, or for 44 years at the time of this writing. Over these years, I have many fond memories of family gatherings with LW and can testify to the great love and affection LW has always had for her family and friends. From a young age, I always looked up to LW and admired her zest for life, her love of art and travel, her amazing work ethic, her loyalty to those dear to her. I am grateful for LW taking me under her wing from a young age and for the great role model she continues to be for me today.
I met LD, the love of LW’s life, 6 years ago and can attest to the perfect match they make and what a beautiful home and life they have built together. LD is an extremely caring, creative, and centered addition to our family, with a sharp focus on what matters most to her. As devoted parents to their 5 beloved dogs, I am keenly aware of LW and LD’s deepest desire to become adoptive parents and to raise a child of their own.
I have witnessed firsthand the deep love, empathy, great fun and joy both LW and LD have bestowed upon my three young children, now ages 8,10,12. LW and LD are the first to jump up to bandage my children’s scrapes and find a means to distract them from the pain, to dig out popsicles for a pleasant surprise, to get down on the floor to play games, and to cook up a wonderful kid-friendly meal that will expand their palette.
LW and LD have so much love, time, wisdom, and devotion to share. I am very confident that LW and LD will make amazing adoptive parents to one lucky child!
Kind Regards,
Kristen Wentraub Mucci

REFERENCE LETTER 2

To Whom it May Concern:
It is both an honor and a pleasure to write a letter of support for LD and LW. I have known both for approximately three years and I am grateful to have such kind, caring and genuine friends. They are the kind of people who are always there for their family and friends, they are people you can count on to be there for you when you are in need.
LD and LW have built a life together that is filled with love and support, they complement each other and continue to grow in their relationship. As a couple, they have always expressed wanting to have children and know that this is something they both are very much looking forward to doing.
I have seen them interact with kids of all ages and know that they would be wonderful parents as they have always exhibited patience, love, compassion in all their interactions. I have observed their playful interactions with our friends’ children and believe they would provide a loving home.
LD and LW have accomplished careers which will allow them to provide a wonderful life to a child. They are well balanced in managing both time for their careers and time for family and friends. They have a village of people including myself that will provide support in their parenting journey.
As a mother of three and a child welfare professional, I truly believe that LD and LW will embrace motherhood and I am in full support of their efforts to have a child of their own.
Sincerely,
Lori-Ann Edwards
