Hello,

As we sit to write this letter our hearts are pounding with excitement and emotion, thank you for giving us the opportunity to introduce ourselves and tell you about our lives. We are grateful that you are considering donating your embryos to a loving recipient that is looking to grow their own family.

Our names are  [Her name] and [His name]. We got married in 2016 and have been trying to grow our family ever since. A year into our marriage we began our journey with the fertility clinic, we have been blessed with a daughter via IVF, shortly after her 1st birthday we returned to the fertility clinic with hopes of growing our family once again, but after several failed cycles it has become clear we are not meant to do this on our own......life rarely goes according to the plans YOU make, and we have realized that God has a different path for growing our family.

We love being parents and raising our family together. We truly feel that the years we have been parents are the best of our lives, it has made us better partners, better people, and enriched our lives in ways we have never imagined. We both come from large families with siblings and have always planned to have multiple children of our own. We have many family members nearby within a 30 minutes distance and rarely go even a few days without seeing them. Family is extremely important to us, and we cannot wait to add another child to ours.

We live in a great neighborhood with many other young families and kids running around. Our community is tight knit, often having community events geared towards the kids, whether it is movie night at the park, doing a craft project, hiding Easter eggs, or meeting Santa (played by [His name]), there is never a shortage of friends to play with. Our door is always open and the neighborhood kids frequently come over to play, paint, ride bikes, run around in the bubble machine or draw with chalk in the driveway. It is so enjoyable to see our neighborhood growing up together.

We enjoy spending time with family and friends and being outdoors. We are always looking for reasons to get together, whether it be hosting a BBQ, having the kids over for pumpkin carving or ornament decorating, or setting up a bounce house in the front yard to burn some energy, we are happiest when the house is full of our loved ones. We enjoy camping, hiking, going to the park for play time and lunch picnics. During the summer we spend most weekends at the beach and during winter there are mountains close by for playing in the snow and sledding. We enjoy visiting the local parks, zoos, U-pick farms and aquariums. There is always something new to see and learn about.

We are blessed with flexible schedules, [His name] is the co-owner of a family business and [Her name] works from home. We are able to take many trips throughout the year, usually spending time on the boat at the lake, camping on the beach or traveling to visit with the family members that are not close by, we also try to explore a new destination every year. At home we enjoy cooking together, crafting, painting, coloring and our weekly visits to the library, we are part of the “1,000 books by kindergarten program”.

You would be giving us the greatest gift imaginable by helping us add another child (or two) to our family, we know we have plenty of room and love in our hearts for more!
