What began as an unexpected connection became the most meaningful part of our lives. In 2023, after a long and emotional journey, [His name] resigned from the [Country] Military Police and moved permanently to the United States. Leaving his career, his home, and his country behind was an act of love and faith in the life we wanted to build together.

 

We were married on May 6, 2023, at [Place] — a place that holds a lifetime of memories for Devon. She grew up on those waters, skiing, wakeboarding, and spending summers at her dad’s home by the lake. Sharing such a meaningful place with [His name] parents, who traveled all the way from [Country] for our wedding, made the day even more special. In December 2023, [His anme] became a permanent resident of the United States, another step forward in the life we are building side-by-side.

 

As a couple, we cherish time together and make it a priority to build a life filled with joy, adventure, and family. We take annual vacations to [Island] and Disney, and every other year we travel to [Country] to spend precious time with [His name] family. We enjoy staying active — working out at the gym, going on bike rides, and playing soccer together. We love grilling together, experimenting with new recipes, and sharing meals with the people we love. One thing we look forward to most is the family environment our children will grow up in. Our future children will be surrounded by a close, loving family with many nieces and nephews, giving them a warm and supportive circle to grow up with — cousins to play with, learn from, and share their childhood memories with.

We even considered relocating to Vermont to pursue more affordable options in Canada.
