INTRO LETTER
We have been married for nearly fifteen years and share a warm, laughter-filled home with our four cats. Our lives have always been full of color and activity — a balance of meaningful work, close friendships, and time spent enjoying the world around us. One of our favorite parts of daily life is gathering around home-cooked meals.
Weekends are never predictable — sometimes we’ll go for a short hike, see a show, host a small get-together with friends, or simply relax and enjoy the quiet. As first-generation immigrants, much of our earlier years were spent working hard, pursuing our careers, and finding our place in a new country. I’m a physician, and my husband is a software engineer. Both of us love what we do, and our careers have taught us patience, empathy, and perseverance — qualities we believe will guide us as parents.
For many years, children were not at the center of our plans. Life felt rich and full as it was. But as time passed, and after facing challenges with my own health and fertility, our hearts began to open to the idea of growing our family in a new way. Our journey through infertility and IVF was long and emotional. Despite several attempts, the pregnancies we achieved were not viable. The process was difficult, but it helped us realize that what we truly want is to nurture life and share our love — not necessarily our genetics.
Embryo adoption feels like a beautiful continuation of our story. We see it as a way to create a family built on compassion, shared hope, and connection across families. What matters most to us is the chance to experience the unique joy of raising a child — to see the world again through their eyes, to offer love, guidance, and stability, and to share the sense of warmth that fills our home.
Our household is small but full of love — a family of beloved humans and cats who bring comfort, laughter, and energy to our days. We hope to extend that love even further and pass along the sense of belonging that has carried us through every chapter of life so far.
